Our story

A promise made in 1995, kept every month since.

Since 1995, Srivatshava Chits has helped families and businesses in Hyderabad save with discipline and reach their goals, through a time-honoured savings tradition run with care.

Where it began

Founded on a word. Carried by a family.

Srivatshava Chits Private Limited was incorporated in Hyderabad on 27 October 1995 by the late Mr. Nagalla Krishna Murthy. A team that has served together for more than three decades continues his work today, with the same personal attention our earliest members remember.

In loving memory

Mr. Nagalla Krishna Murthy

Founder, Srivatshava Chits · 1 July 1961 – 5 June 2025

In 1995 he started Srivatshava Chits with one promise: a member’s savings are a family’s trust, and that trust is honoured every single month.

He believed that trust is not given; it is earned, through integrity, openness and keeping one’s word without exception. The values he set – trust, transparency and member-first service – are the way we still work every day.

With love, respect and gratitude,
the Srivatshava Chits family and staff

From 1 April 2027

From handwritten receipts to a digital welcome.

For more than thirty years, every instalment has been acknowledged with a receipt written by hand at our counter. From 1 April 2027, we plan to make every new scheme digital, on a system built in-house by our own team at our Kukatpally office, subject to regulatory requirements.

The plan is for schemes that begin on or after 1 April 2027 to be digital. Schemes already running continue as they are today, and our counter stays open for anyone who prefers to visit.

  • A digital receipt on WhatsApp

Sent to your WhatsApp the moment your instalment is received. Nothing to file away, nothing to lose.

  • Reminders before every due date

A timely WhatsApp nudge before each instalment, to help you avoid missing a payment.

  • Your whole chit, at a glance

Instalments paid, dividends received and what is due next, kept together in one statement.

  • Auction updates, promptly

Know each month’s auction outcome and your share of the dividend without waiting for a visit.
